Public Auction Information
Magnificent ONE owner 1978, Mercedes-Benz 450 SEL with only 64,830 original miles. It is powered by a 4.5-liter V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes silver-finished 14" Bundt wheels, a power sunroof, an automatic antenna, power windows, automatic climate control, and a Becker Mexico cassette stereo.
The car was last licensed in 2004 but in 2017 was thoroughly inspected and updated (belts, fluids, hoses, etc.) by an automotive company specializing in import vehicles. They were told to make the “car run and look like new,” they did just that, spending over $6,300.00 (see photo for invoice detail). Sadly, the owner’s health deteriorated and she was unable to drive. It has been in a storage unit since then. When it was retrieved from storage in late December 2021, it was again taken to the same import auto mechanics where they replaced the battery and fuel pump and checked and topped off all fluids.
The car systems include heat, air, AM/FM cassette radio, sunroof, power windows and antenna. All work as they should. Tires have less than 50 miles on them. The interior is immaculate - clean with no tears or wear evident and the dark blue leather is in sterling condition. The exterior is in very nice condition with some minor paint scuffs and scratches which should buff out nicely. There is one minor depression on the top near the sunroof but, no other significant dents or dings were noticed.
Additional items include the original owner’s manual and related paperwork, two unopened Zenith Fog Light Grill Covers and repair invoices. Clean and clear title. NO RESERVE. The inspection of the car is by appointment and is located in Pueblo West, CO. Call 719-924-9379 to schedule your showing.
