Estate of Glenn Farley - Classic Project Cars, Airplanes & More!
Begins Closing: Oct 20 @ 7:00pm CDT
Preview Dates: Oct. 19 @ 3:00PM - 5:00PM CDT
Aviation buyers will find two unfinished aircraft projects: a 1960 Cessna 150 fuselage with its original engine, and a 1948 Aeronca Champion airframe with its engine, propeller, and seats included, both sold "not airworthy" as restoration starts. Behind every project sits the parts and tooling that supported it: Mercedes piston sets, body panels, and factory manuals; aircraft instruments, avionics, and a Continental engine crankcase; plus welders, compressors, a tire changer, and shelves of hand tools ready for the next build. Tap, Bid, Win.
Highlights:
Five Mercedes-Benz Ponton sedans across the W120, W180, and W108 chassis families, led by a documented 1968 280 SE/8 with known VIN and title
Two unfinished aircraft projects: a 1960 Cessna 150 fuselage with its original engine, and a 1948 Aeronca Champion airframe with engine, propeller, and seats
Six additional classics: Packard sedan, Fiat 850 Sport Spider, 1977 MG MGB (parts only), 2005 Ford Mustang, and a 1984 Honda Elite scooter
A deep Mercedes parts run: MAHLE piston sets for the 190D, 190SL, and 200D, 1950s 220S body panels and doors, and factory workshop manuals
A matching aviation parts run: cockpit instruments, avionics, a Continental C90 crankcase, Continental engine cylinders, and Aeronca fabric cover envelopes
483 lots total, including a working shop's worth of welders, compressors, engine stands, and hand tools to support any of the above builds.
