RV Overview

- Stock #189473 - Tungston Silver Exterior with Maple Cabinetry Very Large Slides with Tall Ceilings Optimum Storage Throughout Plus Large Windows and Awnings!!This 2008 Gulf Stream Tour Master T-40A model is in great condition. It has been well-maintained by its two owners and the care of their RV shows in its condition. The coach is powered by a Mercedes diesel engine, 330 horsepower and 1000 lb of torque. The RV has very low miles. The current owners purchased a little over two years ago and were mid-way into redoing several things on the RV as listed below, but a medical situation has halted their efforts and they need to sell. The Gulf Stream Tour Master offers lots of features and options, which creates a luxurious and efficient motor home. This coach has too many features and options to list, but here are some:- 3 Slides- 8 kw Diesel Generator- Fiberglass roof- 3 air condition units (2 with heat strips)- 7 6 ceiling heights-10,000 lb hitch- Automatic leveling jacks- Attic storage- Backup camera with 2 side cameras- Keyless entry- Power awning- Thermal pane windows- Surround sound CD/DVD- 3 Flat-screen TVs- Corian Countertops- Maple wood cabinetry- Swivel chair with hassock- Residential side by side refrigerator/freezer with ice and water on the door- Microwave/Convection- 3 Burner range with oven- King bed in the large master bedroom with - Spacious bath- Stacked washer and dryer- Lots of interior and basement storage- Master bedroom has a corner sinkAlong with three a/c there is a gas fired furnace in the bedroom which provides very pleasant heat to the floor.Seller Notes on what they have done and what is remaining.Windows - we took down all the valances (top and two sides on every window, I have all of these in good condition and will leave them for the new owner to decide if they want them back up. We felt they made the rooms feel smaller.) The bedroom window and the larger windows in the living room still have the original window treatments and they are in good shape. The bathroom window and a few of the other windows in the living room - I took the shades out completely so that we could decide how to proceed. The floor in the main cabin - we had decided to replace the carpeting with a floating wood floor. We were fortunate to find a finish carpenter who was willing to take on the installation project. We got the majority of the flooring and trim work laid. Then he came one day, said he needed to take some time to handle personal issues and that was the last we ever saw of him. I continue to try his number, but never get anything but an answering machine, but he never called back. We are concerned for his welfare because I still have his tools - very strange.A number of small projects need to be completed - 1) There are seams (between the new flooring and the original tile that runs down the middle of the room running from the front of the cabin about halfway back), these outside edges are what had to be covered when we took the carpet out. The seam on the passenger side is pretty straight forward and will be the easier of the two. On the drivers side, there is a 12 long slide-out. That seam will require a bit of engineering so that the slide-out still raises up correctly when it is brought in for transport. Any decent handyman should be able to figure it out and install it.Living room, in general - When we took out the carpeting, we also took our the remainder of the furniture. We have owned three motor homes and have usually done this - taken everything out and arranged it as we found most comfortable and convenient. When we bought this unit, July of 2017, we immediately replaced the hide-a-bed. It had been leather but was much overused and very uncomfortable. We have replaced it with a nice gray theater couch. The two outside sections are both full-powered recliners. Even have USB ports on each side. There is no other furniture in the front cabin, so you get to design your interior and wont need to spend more that a few hundred dollars for a dining table with chairs and a lounge chair. Alternatively, we could just go out and buy some replacement furniture, but then it might not be what the buyer would have chosen.Since acquiring the unit we have had installed: a DirecTV power-controlled satellite dish (about $3000), an awning on the full length of the main slide-out ($800), exterior cooling shades for the windshield, door and adjacent windows ($750).Smaller items needing completion :Rather than try to cut the wood flooring to fit around the drivers chair, we bought some heavy rubber mats that can be easily cut and fitted around the chair. It will also provide insulation for the drivers feet. The entry area contains two steps up in the interior of the coach. This area was carpeted on the wall areas. We removed the carpet so it should be covered with the new wood flooring. We are looking for people all over the country who share our love for boats/RVs.
