Excel Industries was known for their common sense features, great quality, and sturdy design of the fifth wheels they made. This one is no exception.
The sellers are the only owners and they used it extensively over the past eight years. They are no longer traveling as much as they had.
It is set up for full timing with two 40 lb propane bottles, 88 gallons of fresh water, three slides, bunk beds, a 10CF fridge, hydraulic disc brake upgrade, hydraulic leveling jacks and slides, 50 amp electrical service, 15,000 BTU air conditioner, and plenty more.
Among the things I really like are the sliding doors in the exterior pass through storage that allow easy access to important systems like the water pump, hydraulics, etc. There are hinged floor panels on either side of the pass through for easy access to the house batteries and to the hydraulic control system. This also opens storage in the front compartment where the bulky batteries are often installed.
This is a great family fifth wheel that has loads of life ahead and does not cost an arm and a leg.
