2020 Grand Design Solitude 380FL

This four season 2020 Grand Design Solitude has a very spacious interior and beautiful full body paint exterior. There is a large amount of basement storage as well as a new Flex Armor roof, new upgraded suspension system, generator, and 5000W solar system. The trailer is fully insulated for 4 seasons use with 2 air conditioners, furnace, tank heaters, and dual pane windows that not only help insulate the trailer from the weather but also from outside noise. The trailer was recently serviced and all recalls are up to date. Included are extras such as water softener, surge protector, leveling blocks, hoses, etc. and are listed below. LIVING ROOM
The living room is situated at the front of the trailer and features a large front cap window offering wonderful views. There is a beautiful electric fireplace and a large flat screen TV (antenna and cable) that rises electronically with the push of a button. The built-in Jensen radio/CD/DVD player (Bluetooth and Aux capability) allows you to listen to music throughout the trailer as well as two outside speakers and the DVD player is tied into the TV. There are 2 newer reclining chairs and 2 sofas that easily pull out into beds to accommodate 4 people. More large windows around the sofas offer great viewing of the surroundings. There is storage on either side of the TV and fireplace as well as above one side of the recliners. The 15000 btu air conditioner in the living room is equipped with the RV AirFlow module that increases airflow by 40% and reduces noise by 3 dB.
KITCHEN/DINING ROOM
Walking down two steps (under which there is a place to store shoes) from the Living Room, you enter the Kitchen/Dining Room. The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel residential refrigerator (12/2023), 4 burner gas stove, and convection microwave. There is a coffee bar space featuring plentiful cabinet shelf and drawer storage. There is storage above the microwave and below the stove as well as a large lighted pantry featuring both shelf and drawer storage. Next comes the island featuring stainless steel double sink and kitchen faucet with pull down sprayer as well as more shelf and drawer storage. The overhead vent/fan features a rain sensor that will automatically close the cover in the event of rain. The dining area features a dark wood dinette table with extension and 2 chairs; there is one extra chair as well that folds up for storage. This area is surrounded by large windows allowing wonderful views of the scenery outside. There is also a built in central vacuum system and automatic dust pan to make cleaning up a breeze.
BEDROOM
Up 2 stairs past the dinette is the bedroom with a king size Sleep Number mattress with dual controls. There are 2 mirrored wardrobes on either side of the dresser for clothing storage and the top of the dresser also lifts to show a hidden fabric lined extra storage area. There are 6 drawers in the dresser which have all been modified to allow extra storage depth. On top of all this, the bed also lifts to reveal another large storage area. There is also a flat screen TV mounted above the dresser. The bedroom features sliding doors on either side. BATHROOMS
Past the bedroom is the spacious full bath. The L-shaped double sink vanity features the same seamless countertops as the kitchen. There is ample cabinet storage space both above and below the counter. A beautiful large mirror covers the back wall above the sinks. The toilet has been upgraded to a Dometic 320 standard height toilet. The large shower is tall enough to accommodate even the tallest people and features a built in seat and shelving as well as an overhead opaque skylight. Next to the shower is a door that opens to the laundry prepped storage area. The remote controlled overhead vent/fan features a rain sensor that will automatically close the cover in the event of rain.
The half bath is through a door off the kitchen and includes a Thetford toilet, sink, medicine cabinet, and under sink storage. The overhead vent/fan features a rain sensor that will automatically close the cover in the event of rain.
BASEMENT
The Solitude 380FL has an immense amount of basement storage space. The back bin features a huge pull out shelf making all your items easily accessible. There are also 2 side bins and a large pass through bin near the rear as well. There is another pass through bin near the front that has been modified to allow extra storage. All these bin areas are heated. There is a front bin that contains an Onan 5500 LP generator and all the control hardware for the solar system. There is also a bin for your water bay and 6 point auto leveling system controls. There are separate storage bins for two 30 pound propane tanks which each have the Mopeka level sensors installed.
EXTERIOR
This beautiful 5th wheel features a Cabernet color full body paint that always elicits compliments wherever we go. There are two large electric controlled awnings with added sun shade screens. In 2024, a new Flex Armor roof and shower skylight were installed; the Flex Armor roof comes with a transferable lifetime guarantee. A new Road Master Comfort Ride Leaf Suspension System with shocks was also installed in 2024. There is a back-up camera installed and all tires have the Tire Minder system including the spare. The front door has been upgraded to the RV Lock keyless entry and an extra large folding grab bar assists with entering and exiting the RV.
SOLAR SYSTEM
In addition to the Onan 5500 generator, there is a Victron Energy 5000W solar system consisting of six 360W solar panels on the roof, three 24volt lithium ferro phosphate storage batteries, a 5000W inverter, and all the necessary hardware to convert the 24 volt system to 12volts and 120 volts. The ENTIRE trailer is wired into the system via a super selector switch that powers both sides of the 50A electrical panel from the single inverter. During power grid outages, the automatic transfer switch changes the trailer over to the solar system (and back). With this system and the generator as backup, you can go boondocking wherever you desire without the need of plugging into shore power.
