Cruise America's primary business is renting out Class C motorhomes. They are rented out for about 3 years and my corporate office in Arizona decides when to retire them from our rental fleet and designates a few to be sold to the public. It goes through our reconditioning process where we start by taking off all of the Cruise America graphics, we put the original Apex Remote graphics back on. Then, we go in the inside to check the appliances; all the appliances need to be in working condition before it's put out for sale.
For over 14 years, I've served the whole eastern part of the US. And since 50% of my customers come from out of state or out of town, many of our customers travel great distances to take advantage of our sale prices. Most have never seen the travel trailer that they are interested in. We have them place a refundable $500.00 credit card deposit by phone. They arrive here with the balance due in the form of a bank cashiers check. If the travel trailer does not meet their expectations, the deposit is credited back to their account. If they approve and it is what they expected, we proceed with the purchase. RV financing options are available, please request for details if interested.
In Lieu of the Fly/Buy program, customers can rent a U-Haul Ford F150 truck to our location and Cruise America will send you a rebate check for your car rental up to $300.00 after you take the travel trailer home.
We have RV financing or USAA bank if you're a veteran (ask for details).
