The 2022 Jayco Swift Li Series 20 TL is a compact, adventure-ready Class B motorhome built on a dependable Ram ProMaster 3500 chassis.

Its just shy of 21 feet long, making it easy to drive around town or maneuver into tight campsites. Yet, it manages to pack in many features for off-grid living, primarily powered by a substantial 48-volt smart lithium battery system with 200 watts of roof-mounted solar.

Inside, the layout is designed for two people, featuring twin beds in the rear that can be converted into a single, large king-size bed for more comfort. The interior features European-style high-gloss cabinetry and residential vinyl flooring, giving it a modern, clean look. The front captains chairs swivel around to face an expandable table, creating a small dining or workspace area near the sliding entry door.

The kitchen is modest but functional, with a single induction cooktop, a convection microwave, and a 3 cubic-foot AC/DC refrigerator. A pop-up outlet tower provides convenient power access for small appliances and charging devices.

The wet bath, located at the very back of the van, includes a foot-flush toilet, a removable shower head, and a small medicine cabinet, with a wardrobe nearby for clothes.

Driving the Swift Li 20 TL feels more like handling a large van than a bulky RV, thanks to its 3.6-liter V6 engine and the JAYCOMMAND powered by Firefly system, which lets you monitor and control various functions, like lighting and power, from a central panel or your smartphone. It comes equipped with safety features like a backup camera, park assist, and heated side mirrors.

For outdoor living, a Thule armless patio awning extends over the entry, providing shade, and the Thule roof rack system allows you to bring along extra gear like bikes. The overall impression is a nimble, self-sufficient camper for travelers who prioritize flexibility and off-road capability over sprawling interior space.
