This 2022 TAXA Mantis 4.1 Pop-Top Travel Trailer is a purpose-built Mobile Human Habitat designed for adventure, comfort, and off-grid capability.
Built on a rugged powder-coated steel chassis, the Mantis combines lightweight construction with durability, making it equally at home on forest roads, remote campsites, or traditional campgrounds.
The innovative pop-top design expands interior headroom while maintaining a compact tow profile.
Inside, the intelligently designed floorplan sleeps up to four, featuring a convertible sleeper dinette and bunk beds that easily transform to accommodate passengers, gear, or cargo.
The kitchen area includes a stove and mini fridge/freezer, while the flexible milk crate drawer storage system provides customizable and rugged organization throughout the cabin.
For extended trips and off-grid living, this Mantis is equipped with 200 watts of roof-mounted solar, two lithium batteries, and an 8,000 BTU air conditioner to keep the interior comfortable in warm conditions. The Truma heat and hot water system keeps you warm when things cool down.
The fully integrated wet bath includes a shower and cassette toilet, adding convenience without sacrificing space.
On the exterior, the trailer is outfitted with all-terrain tires for improved off-road capability, a large batwing awning that creates an expansive outdoor living area, four scissor jacks for stable leveling, and a rear roof ladder for easy access and maintenance.
