2023 BT Cruiser 5240! Compact, Open-Concept Class C with Solar & Very Light Use!

The 2023 BT Touring Cruiser 5240 by Gulf Stream was designed to offer the drivability of a shorter Class C coach while still delivering many of the comforts and amenities found in larger motorhomes. Built on the Ford E-350 dual rear wheel chassis and powered by Fords proven 7.3L V8 gas engine paired with an automatic transmission, this coach combines manageable size, stable highway handling, and functional touring capability in a compact 255 overall package.

One of the standout features of this BT Touring Cruiser 5240 is the flexible open-concept 5240 floorplan. The convertible Murphy bed and sofa arrangement allows the living area to remain open and comfortable during daytime use while still providing overnight sleeping accommodations when needed. The layout also includes a rear corner bathroom, wardrobe storage, galley kitchen, dinette seating area, overhead cabinetry, and entertainment center with a 40 LED HDTV. The design creates a spacious interior feel compared to many traditional fixed-bed Class C floorplans in this size category.

Another major feature is the upgraded off-grid and touring capability. This coach is equipped with roof-mounted solar, a Cummins Onan QG 4000 generator showing approximately 43.6 hours, ducted 13,500 BTU roof air conditioning, 25,000 BTU furnace heat, power awning with LED lighting, backup and side-view camera system, hydraulic leveling jacks, outside shower, black tank flush, and a 7,500 lb receiver hitch with 7-way connector and integrated brake controller. The coach also features fiberglass exterior construction with a one-piece fiberglass roof and molded fiberglass front and rear caps designed to help reduce maintenance and improve durability.

Additional features include dual rear wheels for improved load carrying and highway stability, frameless-style tinted windows, fiberglass running boards, electric entry step, upgraded LED lighting, Bluetooth-ready multimedia stereo system, insulated roof A/C duct system, stainless wheel liners, and multiple exterior storage compartments. The BT Touring Cruiser also includes a 6-gallon gas/electric water heater with bypass valve, microwave oven, refrigerator/freezer, cooktop, power roof vents, and ducted climate control systems.

The exterior, undercarriage, suspension components, leveling jack assemblies, and storage areas photographed cleanly during inspection. Seller reports the RV saw only light recreational use consisting of several shorter trips during ownership. Tires showed good visible tread in the photographed areas at the time of inspection. The generator compartment, chassis areas, and underbody components also reflected light-use appearance consistent with the reported mileage and limited use history.
