2024 Rockwood Roo 19, unique travel trailer with double fold out Queen beds, solar package, full bath, kitchen & living space and sleeps 8!

Introducing a single-owner 2024 Forest River Rockwood Roo 19 expandable hybrid travel trailer.

This model is designed to provide the lightweight tow ability and compact footprint of a shorter trailer while expanding to offer the interior living space of a much larger coach. Because it utilizes fold-out tent ends, you get a bright, open floor plan that maximizes every inch of its twenty-two-foot towing length. It is a highly functional setup for families or groups who want to transition from traditional tent camping into a fully equipped travel trailer without upgrading to a heavy-duty tow vehicle.

The unique interior layout features a spacious living room that utilizes a straight-wall design to keep the unit lightweight and simple to set up. Unlike many compact floor plans that force you to choose between seating options, this specific unit includes both a sixty-seven-inch jackknife sofa on the campside wall and a forty-four-inch U-shaped booth dinette directly across from it. This dual-seating arrangement provides plenty of room for daytime lounging and dining.

When it comes to entertainment, the living area is equipped with a wall-mounted twelve-volt Smart TV that runs directly off the battery system, making it easy to stream movies or shows while dry camping. A built-in multi-zone Bluetooth stereo powers the interior cabin and allows you to seamlessly control your audio right from your smartphone.

The sleeping arrangement is highly versatile and capable of sleeping six to eight people. On the front and rear exterior ends, the trailer features two fold-out queen beds equipped with sixty-by-eighty-inch residential mattresses. Both of these expandable bunks include factory-installed twelve-volt heated mattress pads to keep you comfortable on cool nights. When additional sleeping space is needed, the interior living room easily converts; the jackknife sofa folds flat, and the U-shaped dinette table drops down to level with the benches, transforming both seating areas into extra beds.

Adjacent to the living area is a fully functional kitchen equipped for road trips and campsite cooking. It features an eleven-cubic-foot twelve-volt refrigerator, a microwave, a three-burner cooktop, oven, and overhead cabinetry for pantry storage. Across from the kitchen, a private, enclosed bathroom houses a foot-flush toilet, a corner shower, a vanity sink with a medicine cabinet, and a ceiling exhaust fan.

For climate control, the trailer relies on a powerful 35k BTU ducted propane furnace to heat the interior, complemented by a standard roof-mounted 15k BTU air conditioner for hot summer days. The water heating system consists of a six-gallon quick-recovery gas and electric combination water heater, allowing you to run on campground electricity or propane depending on your setup.

The roof holds a standard 200w solar panel paired with a 30-amp charge controller and an 1800watt power inverter, allowing you to safely run small appliances and devices off the dual battery boxes located on the tongue.

The exterior setup includes a power tongue jack for easy hitching, four manual scissor stabilizer jacks at the corners, marine-grade weatherproof exterior speakers, attachable grill with LP connect, and a dedicated exterior shower for rinsing off gear before heading inside.
