Most competitors systems allow for less than 2 of movement. All Jayco Fifth Wheels are built using 7,000-lb. or 7,400-lb. Dexter axles with Nev-R-Adjust brakes. This braking system eliminates the need for repeated, time-consuming manual adjustments and can greatly increase stopping distance. Dexter Heavy-Duty Shackles with Wet Bolt Fasteners and Bronze Bushings help resist the wear and tear of towing. Jayco also upgrades to heavy-duty 4,000-lb. springs instead of the standard 3,500-lb. springs. The North Point tires are 17.5 H rated 16 ply Uniroyal tires with 4,805-lb. weight rating.
